I just must share with you how training with the LaserMax has turned me from a shaky misfit into a dead-eye pistol shooter. I've always shot extremely well with rifles. But until I started practicing with my LaserMax, I just could not achieve consistent accuracy with a pistol even though I practiced and practiced. I could not seem to learn the art of holding the pistol steady as I pulled the trigger, and my shot placement was pathetic. The problem was especially bad on more powerful pistols which are my favorites. When I installed a LaserMax on my hard-hitting 10 mm Glock 20, the laser dot enabled me to do something that changed everything! I'd always known that a key element of good shooting was consistent trigger control while holding the pistol consistently steady. "Muscle memory," some people call it, but I could just could not seem to make it happen. My LaserMax gave me the visual feedback I really needed to learn the technique. I began by dry firing the pistol with the laser dot trained on a particular point in the distance. Finally I could actually see precisely what my hands were doing to my point of aim at each and every point of the trigger pulling sequence. I can not emphasize how immediately and positively this improved the quality of my pistol shooting. The bright dot projected by the LaserMax enabled me to see exactly when and how I was pulling the pistol off target at any point of the trigger pulling sequence, With the immediate feedback provided by the LaserMax beam, I was able to train my trigger finger and all my aiming muscles to keep the point of aim rock steady all the way through the firing sequence and beyond into the important "follow through" phase. The results on my live fire were nothing short of fabulous. Suddenly I was able to hit my targets squarely with confidence time after time. I love the fast, positive target acquisition my LaserMax provides me, but I will always be especially grateful to you for helping me perfect the all-important basic pistol shooting skills.

I recently purchased a LaserMax unit for my GLOCK model 27… About a week ago I was working on my hunting lease, fertilizing and planting food plots. During the clean up period I place my pistol on my utility trailer while I changed clothes. Well…you guessed it, I forgot it was on the trailer when I drove away. Luckily, or so one would think, my hunting partner was following me in his Ford F250 Diesel towing a 4 ton tractor and trailer. We had driven about 1/2 mile before I realized what I had forgotten.

My walk back to my starting point was less then exciting. As I approached the starting point I found my trusted companion, firmly implanted into the roadbed, in the tracks of the flatbed trailer, towed by my partner. Needless to say I was a bit concerned with this picture. I retrieved my pistol, mud and all, from what I thought was it final resting place. After a brief prayer, a good spraying with a garden hose and an even more complete cleaning with oil and elbow grease, I then set out to the range to get the rest of the bad news.

Well…I was absolutely amazed when I found that the pistol and LaserMax combo was still the ‘nail driver’ that it had been before this tragedy. The only apparent damage was that the bath had weakened the batteries. A quick battery replacement and everything was back to WONDERFUL again.
