Sabre on Compact GLOCK
Rochester, NY (December 22, 2008) – LaserMax is proud to release its Sabre™ lasers for polymer frame pistols. The Sabre™ is now available for purchase through your local dealer or distributor. The Sabre™ series is a new concept: a laser in an ergonomic stabilizing grip at the rear of the pistol frame. The Sabre™ lasers are compatible with most holsters and will be available at Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) $219.

Two Sabre™ models are for sale now. LaserMax model
LMS-SA-GF will fit the GLOCK models G17, G17L, G18, G22, G24, G31, G34, G35 and G37. Model LMS-SA-GC will fit GLOCK models G19, G23, G32 and G38.

All Sabre™ lasers have a sleek, contoured design that feels good in the hand. An extended beaver tail at the back of the pistol stabilizes the shooter’s grip against recoil. The same beaver tail houses two 357 batteries which can be changed out without affecting alignment. A master switch at the back of the slide allows the user to toggle between off, continuous-on or Hi-Vis pulsating for the fastest visual acquisition. With the master switch set to either continuous-on or Hi-Vis, the operator simply grips the gun as he or she normally would and the laser activates. Removing pressure from the grip deactivates the laser. The beam will not light with Master switch set to off to ensure no accidental illumination. The laser is positioned high and back on the frame so that the beam does not interfere when the shooter’s trigger finger is “indexing” against the frame of the pistol. Additionally the laser allows for clearance when the shooter is racking the slide. The laser can be easily adjusted for windage and elevation with the tool provided.
