Ruger LCP2 Green Laser with GripSense Technology
The Ruger LCP2 green laser incorporates LaserMax’s patent-pending GripSense™ technology, which detects when the shooter establishes a natural grip on the firearm. Similar to smartphone touch sensors, the system uses a detection zone where the shooter’s middle finger indexes the trigger guard.
Once contact is detected, the laser activates instantly without requiring the user to alter their grip.
Users may also disable GripSense activation and operate the laser with the manual push-button if preferred.

The GS-LCP2-G projects a bright green laser aiming point downrange, helping shooters identify targets faster and improve accuracy with Ruger’s compact LCP2 pistol.
The housing is rounded and blended to promote a smooth draw while maintaining the pistol’s slim concealed-carry profile.
Secure Mounting and Ambidextrous Controls
The CenterFire GripSense laser mounts directly to the pistol frame without permanent modifications. The design preserves the firearm’s natural ergonomics and allows operation by both right- and left-handed shooters.
A distinct ambidextrous TAP ON / TAP OFF switch reinforces safe firearm handling and allows easy activation when needed.
Programmable Green Laser Output
The green laser system is user-programmable and can operate in either:
- steady beam mode
- high-visibility pulsed beam mode
The unit is fully adjustable for windage and elevation to help maintain proper point-of-aim / point-of-impact alignment.
GripSense technology also functions while wearing gloves.

I put one on a Ruger LCP II and with no adjustments was making 2 inch groups at 10 yds. If you believe in a .380 as the ideal ULTRA concealable weapon, then with this Gri[ Sense Laser on it, its PERFECTO. Pull it ou and you’ve got a Green strobing beam right on your target instantly allowing you to literally shoot from the hip. New 7 round magazine with a spare and one in the chamber cocked with that rubber round trigger guard and you’ve got 15 rounds of firepower, deadly accurate in a HURRY.

You merely grap your weapon and on it comes, INSTANTLY. No fumbling around, no looking for your front sight, much less your rear. Your bad guy sees this green dot bouncing around on his chest and the very first thing he will do, is surrender, if he’s got any sense about him. If he doesn’t, well you know what comes next. At 7-10 yards, it’s a deadly optic that is incredibly accurate and reliable. It literally allows you to shoot from the hip.
