I purchased the wrong battery pack and requested a refund, never heard from laser Max, so I decided to buy them as four individual batteries and they popped right into the laser with no difficulty, the pricing on this battery in order to get the plastic sleeve is illogical. Someone’s making a ton of money off of a plastic sleeve.

I have an older model Sig Sauer P226 9mm (made in West Germany – 35+ yr old gun). It has an older Lasermax guide rod laser as well. I ordered new individual batteries (393) and installed them in the guide rod. The laser came on and stayed on and nothing I did enabled me to turn them off – they stayed on and the batteries died overnight. So I called customer support and was lucky enough to speak with Kevin Snyder (serious expert) who helped me trouble shoot. Because of the age of my guide rod – the internals of the battery chamber are coated with a thin layer of white paint / epoxy (??). Due to normal wear and tear (previous owner was an Army Ranger…) some of the paint had worn off of the battery chamber internals which resulted in metal-to-metal contact between the batteries and the chamber wall and caused a short-circuit condition that kept the laser on continuously. The sleeved battery pack alleviates this issue and allows me to continue to use my old guide rod laser which is .05" dia less than what is currently available (cause it was made in W. Germany). So there is a wisdom to the use of this pack and I can’t thank Kevin enough.

Hello. I have a new Glock 45 pistol. I purchased the internal laser model LMS-G5-19G from you. Unfortunately, the batteries last a maximum of a week inside the holster. Yours, we are ready to test the device and in terms of it I will buy a new set of batteries from it at a cost of 40 dollars every week. Is there anything I can do? I paid a lot for this laser and I am not getting proper service. Thank you

I returned 1 of the battery packs to Lazer Max via ‘Customer Service Dept’ (approx. 7/10/24) and requested that a different battery type be sent as a replacement because the Lazer in my Glock 21 is not working.
I have not heard back from Lazer Maxon that exchange yet.

The gun dealer broke the battery pack on my green laser sight trying to open it. The LaserMax side green laser light for my Glock 43 was only 2 years old and I was worried about how expensive a replacement would be. Randy did an excellent job identifying what needed to be done and sent out a new battery pack at no charge! They really stand behind their products.
